Based in Bogota, Romperayo is part of an exciting new scene that gets to work with the psychedelic sound of 70s cumbia and danceable tropical rhythms. Like like fellow spirits like Meridian Brothers, Frente Cumbiero and Los Pirañas, they combine Colombian folklore and modern electronica into a catchy mix. Deliciously weird, with lots of humour and, above all, a direct assault on hips and feet (and if applicable bad mood).

Romperayo already built a wild party at festivals like Roskilde, Best Kept Secret, Oerol and Le Guess Who. The weekend in sight on Tuesday!
