Few artists deserve the term ‘legend’ more than DJ Hell. From his home cities of Munich and Berlin, the German DJ, producer, and label boss has been leaving his mark on the electronic music scene
since the 1980s. With his International Deejay Gigolo Records label, DJ Hell helped lay the foundations of Electroclash, the subgenre that around the turn of the millennium caused a seismic shift in dance music with artists such as Fischerspooner, ADULT., Miss Kittin & The Hacker, and Tiga. Feel free to call his album 'Teufelswerk' (2009) one of the definitive works of that era.
Characterized by a mix of elements from EBM, electro, new wave, minimal techno, and rave, the sets of DJ Hell are an absolute high mass for lovers of forward-thinking dance music.
Since making his debut in 1989 on the Ghent-based R&S label, CJ Bolland has been regarded as one of the most consistent and forward-thinking producers and DJs in the international dance scene. From the biggest festivals to underground clubs, his mix of hard techno and rave with breakbeats survives every hype or trend.
CJ Bolland's music cannot be confined to a single box. From the hypnotic 'Camargue' to rave tracks such as 'Horsepower' or the TSOB anthem 'The Prophet': in every production across his nearly four-decade-long career, CJ Bolland demonstrates a meticulous musicality and an infallible feel for the dance floor.
Together with Tom Barman, he formed Magnus, with whom he also delivered a Belpop classic with the track 'Summer's Here'. In addition, he has remixed, among others, Depeche Mode, Moby, Sven Väth, The Prodigy, and dEUS.
Fred Nasen started DJing in 1993 and held residencies at Balmoral, At The Villa, H2o, and Kozzmozz. In the early 2000s, he founded the label Visitor Records, which released more than 40 records. For 15 years, he has hosted the Texture Radio shows and is also co-founder of the online radio station We Are Various in Antwerp. Fred Nasen will warm up for DJ Hell and CJ Bolland during Club Cactus.
