Each week we invite a different chef for a weekend residency – seven unique crews in total, each with their own style. Don't expect a classic menu, but street food and sharing dishes. No etiquette, affordable food: you order straight from the chef and eat whatever you're craving. With a matching DJ on Saturday. They'll provide tunes that perfectly match the food.

Chef Hendrik Dequeker gained experience in Michelin-starred kitchens and honed his craft at Kok au Vin. Four years ago, together with host Jürgen Aerts, he gave that story a new face with Locàle: a fresh start with its own style and rhythm. The cuisine is no-nonsense and pure, with a focus on organic, local, and fully homemade dishes.

Locàle builds on the strengths of Kok au Vin — top service, an intimate setting, and fair prices — but deliberately opts for a contemporary, relaxed atmosphere. Hendrik cooks without fuss, with great attention to flavor, and above all: to bring people back together at the table.
