Barking wildly, the young hounds of CLAMM join the pack of punk, psych, and garage rock bands making waves Down Under. The trio - Jack Summers, Miles Harding, and Stella Rennex - has been active since 2020 and operates out of Melbourne.
Through their music, CLAMM explores the challenges of youth in an increasingly strange world. Political themes like oppression and entrenched power structures intertwine with topics of community, creativity, and personal struggles with mental health. All of this is delivered with the volume cranked to eleven and the pedal to the floor - because CLAMM is raw, fast, and urgent. Their energy recalls fellow Aussies like Civic, The Chats, and Amyl & The Sniffers.
Their debut album 'Beseech Me' (2020) was quickly embraced by the local punk scene and found an audience beyond Australia, thanks in part to the UK label Meat Machine (Crack Cloud, Nov3l…). With their second album 'Care' (2022) and the EP 'Disembodiment' (2024), the band gained international media attention, with BBC6, NME, DIY Mag, and Paste all tipping CLAMM as a band to watch.
In 2025, CLAMM returns with their third album, 'Serious Acts', pushing their sound into new directions while staying true to their raw and powerful punk identity. Album release show at Cactus Café!
