The electronic duo Skemer, existing out of model Kim Peers and AmenrA guitarist Mathieu Vandekerckhove, makes minimalistic dark- and coldwave constructions that are brutal and erotic at the same time. To pumping electrobeats Peers chants her dark vocals with her reverb drenched voice, fired on with the cutting postpunk guitar of Vandekerckhove. Skemer sounds extraordinarily dark, but beckons to the dancefloor of an industrial technoclub on their debut album ‘Benevolence’.

Pruillip is a new Belgian sludgeband founded by Louis Evrard (Bert Dockx Band, Grid Ravage, Ottla) on guitar and Annelies Van Dinter (Echo Beatty, Takh, Nada Ghost) on drums and vocals. Treasuring Earth's sonic walls of sound, Pruillip is loud, hypnotic and overpowering. Their self-titled debut album revolves around deep meditation: eight songs that channel elemental emotions and physically impact the body. Pruillip builds with drones and low end frequencies, brutal and spartan drums, primitive and addictive guitar riffs. Sometimes slow burning, sometimes full on attack. Always intense and compelling. Through it all, Annelies lures you with her dark voice to mysterious places you never want to leave.
