As a songwriter and producer, Kevin Garrett has collaborated with Beyonce and James Blake (he co-wrote 'Prey You Catch Me', the opening track of Bey's Lemonade), Troye Sivan ('You Know What I Need') and Banks ('Contaminated'). He has several Grammy nominations to his name and is signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation and AWAL. In addition, the singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist toured with Mumford & Sons, James Bay and James Vincent McMorrow - with whom he shares a flawless falsetto and a love of classic songwriting and electronica.

Even with his own music, Garrett has collected over 300 million streams throughout his career. His R&B-influenced, electronic pop is the work of an artist with a love for classics like Sam Cooke, Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan. An old soul with new ideas, and with an ear for melodic gems that are vulnerable and raw, providing the ideal framework for his gentle croon voice. The likes of Sam Smith and Katy Perry are already outing themselves as fans, and Garrett is shining on the radar of media outlets like Billboard, The Fader and Complex.

Right now in our cosy café, but we wouldn't be surprised if you'll soon have to trek to a very different type of venue for Kevin Garrett. Breaking Waves!
