Dutch duo Donna Blue moves in a gritty cinematic universe. A world where the twang of jangly guitars, grooving bass lines and sensual vocals try to lure you from the shadows. Their signature chamber pop possesses a 60's chic charm that hovers between the moody western duets of Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood and the upbeat hits of Serge Gainsbourg. In the process, Donna Blue draws inspiration from vintage movie soundtracks and psychedelics, and you'll recognize the sounds of Ennio Morricone, Piero Piccioni and John Barry. Whichever way they go, they always smell fresh of lost times, floating away from the mundane with a touch of poetry and dreaminess.

From the Netherlands, Donna Blue is conquering the world, with support from ARTE and Clash Music, among others, and playing concerts throughout Europe and in the USA. Sir Elton John is a fan and has already played them on his radio show. Their new album 'Into The Realm of Love' will be released in March. Breaking Waves!
